Addo is situated in a malaria free area just one hour's drive from Port Elizabeth Airport, this wildlife sanctuary is home to over 450 elephants, Cape buffalo, a variety of antelope species, as well as the unique flightless dung beetle, found almost exclusively in Addo. The Addo Elephant National Park is the third largest SANPark in South Africa, offering a wide range of game viewing and outdoor activities, which include horse-back game viewing and horse-riding, guided walks, hiking, 4x4 trails and a picnic area for day visitors.

The Addo National Elephant Park offers a variety of Game Drives at different times of the day allowing guests the opportunity to spot nocturnal animals often missed during the day.
